“We all walk through seasons of joy, pain, hope and despair. My artwork will provide a space of self-reflection and connection, helping you navigate these seasons and find a way home.”

Painting, for me, is a journey through my emotions and thoughts. My dream is that it will become a language through which I can connect with myself and other people, helping us navigate our internal worlds and find a way home.

Growing up, I have always been inspired by the natural world. I love how the trees move and change through the seasons in a beautiful organic story of decay and regeneration. My work unravels this journey of pain and revival and beauty made from ashes.

Working in oils, inks and sculpture I hope that my art can be a healing and restoring experience for those who view it.

Realizing, from a young age, that art is able to speak the language of the heart in a way words cannot, I became passionate about creating this bridge of connection from our emotions into a tangible painting. Exhibiting at Churches at the age of 15, I was blessed to see this language of my paintings touch people deeply and more recently at Bell Farm Church I saw people experience a similar sense of peace and self- connection through participatory art, as I guided them through meditative drawing and painting. I have exhibited at David’s Tent, City and Guilds of London Art School, and have hung work in the Royal Society of Art; I continue to take commissions and discover my artistic language.

Finding a way home

We all walk through seasons of joy, pain, hope and despair. My artwork will provide a space of self- reflection and connection, helping you navigate these seasons and find a way home. Often we look for our anchors and shores in the material world around us but this sense of safety and peace we’re searching for is internal; I hope that viewing my artwork will help you navigate your journey towards this peace, providing a space of comfort, hope and self- acceptance.

Learning to love all our parts

One of the things I am passionate about creating in my personal life and my artwork is a capacity to hold multiple conflicting emotions and thoughts. Learning to love every part of myself is something I am continuously discovering through my art as I express and explore all the rooms and places inside of me. The beauty of the process is that pain and hopelessness become a part of this journey of creation and my hope is that bringing my whole self to my art will inspire viewers to love themselves and take the journey into own their hearts.
